Queen’s Award

Queen’s Award for Enterprise

Sustainable Development

Freuds has been honoured with a 2021 Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development.

Now in its 55th year, the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise recognise outstanding achievement in the fields of international trade, innovation, promoting opportunity (through social mobility) and sustainable development.

The Sustainable Development Award is given to commercially successful products, services and management that benefit the environment, society and the economy.

We are incredibly proud to have received this Award for the work we do advancing the cause of sustainable development. Purpose has been in our DNA from the start, and many of the world’s greatest sustainability challenges have a communications challenge at the core. We help businesses, governments, NGOs and individuals to navigate this complex intersection, which has never been more important. As a certified B Corporation, we are passionate and committed about playing our part in building a brighter future, and this Award recognises the impact our integrated campaigns are having every single day
Dr. Arlo Brady, Freuds CEO

Throughout our 35-year history, we have constantly striven to find new levels of the good that can be achieved by connecting culture and cause.

Increasingly, our role has been to help brands and businesses to understand their social responsibility, and then act on it in a creative and impactful way. The launch of the Sustainable Development Goals in 2015 provided a framework to help tie together the many initiatives our clients and campaigns contributed to and in 2019 we reorganised our business to make supporting the Goals the organising principle of our activity.

A cornerstone of this work has been the creation of our Goals House series launched at Davos, the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and the United Nations General Assembly which bring together internationally renowned activists, thinkers, politicians, personalities, business leaders and entrepreneurs from around the globe to set common and achievable targets using the Goals as its North Star.
