Mars Petcare Better Cities for Pets

This week, Mars Petcare, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and animal-loving celebrity & landlord Zara McDermott, launched ‘The Petiquette Guide to Rentals and Pet Ownership’, to help tenants and landlords navigate renting with a pet ahead of the Renters’ Reform Bill.

New research commissioned by Mars Petcare for its Better Cities for Pets campaign revealed that 1 in every 10 tenants is currently ‘hiding’ a pet from their landlord, and that a shocking 10% of animals brought to shelters like Battersea Dogs & Cats Home come in as a lack of pet friendly rentals.
