More Research, Less Cancer

Cancer Research UK’s ‘More Research, Less Cancer’ campaign comes at a time when the research and scientific community stands ready to make breakthroughs that are finally within our reach.

Fuelled by advances in AI and technology, the next decade could transform the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer for millions.

Freuds launched ‘More Research, Less Cancer’, the largest ever philanthropic campaign by a UK charity, calling on high-value donors to help accelerate a new, golden age of cancer research and change the outlook for this generation and the next.

However, this will take a united and collective effort, including the real impact that can be achieved through philanthropic investment.

As part of its ‘More Research, Less Cancer’ campaign, Cancer Research UK published an ‘open letter to the world’ signed by over 50 leading researchers and scientists, calling on the philanthropic community to support life-saving research at a time when we are at a tipping point in cancer discoveries.

With 1 in 2 of us affected by cancer globally and the number of cases expected rise by around 50% in just 16 years, cancer remains a defining health issue of our time. Science and research hold the power to change this outlook.
