This Autumn, Freuds Podium worked with Universal on the UK release of the latest colourful adventure in the Trolls franchise.
Trolls Band Together stars Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick and Camilla Cabello, and ‘sang its way to a number one’ at the UK-Ireland box office on opening weekend.
The Podium team kicked off the campaign by organizing for press to attend a scoring session for the film at London’s iconic Abbey Road. Following the announcement of SAG strikes, and limited access to talent, Podium pivoted and changed strategy by sending press to LA to visit the iconic Dreamworks Campus (to interview the filmmakers). Other highlights included managing press attendance for a family multimedia screening in Odeon Leicester Square which had over 750+ attendees and setting up interviews with the director Walt Dohrn across a range of entertainment and film outlets.

When Sam Smith, director here at Freuds, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s just over 2 years ago, it brought great uncertainty. He is a passionate musician and one of his biggest concerns was he didn’t think he’d ever play guitar again. All of which makes today’s release of his first solo album, In the Springtime, all the more poignant.
