Welcome To Wrexham S2

This autumn, Freuds Podium worked with Disney+ to launch series 2 of the critically acclaimed sports documentary series Welcome to Wrexham, starring Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds.
Alongside managing the publicity campaign to launch the series, on launch day we worked with Disney+ to host a pub quiz at the iconic The Turf pub for the local community with a surprise performance from Wrexham's favourite band, The Declan Swans. Mid-series, we also hosted select press at a Wrexham home game where they received the full Welcome to Wrexham experience.

When Sam Smith, director here at Freuds, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s just over 2 years ago, it brought great uncertainty. He is a passionate musician and one of his biggest concerns was he didn’t think he’d ever play guitar again. All of which makes today’s release of his first solo album, In the Springtime, all the more poignant.
